Last Dinner

For those of you who dont know, this may be the last blog entry from me in this site. My brother and are are off to venture to the UK for (of course) our studies. Unfortunately we are both going to seperate universities. My brother (Fayyadh) is going to Nottingham Trent to do 'Graphic Design'. Where as I (Baz) will be going to Greenwich for Journalism ans PR. =D

Long lectures have been given to us from our parents, which included the topics of safety, morality, education..etc. We absorbed each (very detailed) lecture like a sponge.

Ayah & umi, dont worry we will do our best and show you that we can acheive our goal. We will be the responsible young adults you know we are.

We are very lucky to get this opportunity (to getting the MFA scholarship for our degrees) to study abroad; mind you guys, it is apparent for us to survive and acheive the highest results we can possibly achieve.

So in celebration the family went out for a farwell dinner. We all dined in a halal thai restaurant. Sadly i didnt catch the name of the establishment. But i can tell you that it was close to our apartmant...i think it was a 10min walk. It was tough getting there because it was raining (we all used umbrellas...but i had to share with waie...*grumble grumble*) I was lucky enough to acquire a pair of rainboots a few days back (in preperation for the UK), so obviously i wore it for the rainy occassion and to break them in of course ^^ teehee.

The nice waiter took our last family picture ='( huuhuuu.

So here is my goodbye and this is of coure not the last (i hope). Dear Reader wish my abg and I luck and do pray for us to succeed. Were totaly gonna miss everyone, especially our family whos been thee for us all our lives...and even though my abg and I are in the same country...he wont be with me 24/7 like he is here in New York, so im gna miss him at times as well.
*I'd like to thank both my parents who helped out and made this all happen and everyone who supported us through our tough ordeal from listening to us stress out *
Also i want to thank Allah for making it all happen.
Once again Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir dan Batin<3
